Monster of the Week

Monster of the Week is a game system that is exactly what it says on the tin. Players hunt down a flavour of the week monster, almost Scooby Doo style. It is a system that can be played with only 4 pages of reading. It lends itself well to those with a strong imagination and desire to specifically hunt down monsters, in any setting you could want.

Minecraft is a powerful creative platform that encourages problem-solving, collaboration, and imagination all while feeling like play.

With guided facilitation, it becomes a tool for developing real-world skills like communication, planning, and emotional regulation.

How does D&D compare to other activities?

Participating in Dungeons & Dragons Club can be likened to engaging in organized team sports as both activities can aid in the development of a child's character.

Both endeavours necessitate the employment of teamwork, communication, and strategy. In Dungeons & Dragons, players collaborate with one another to attain a common objective, much like in team sports.

The game can assist children in honing their problem-solving abilities and fostering their creativity, which can be advantageous in many aspects of their lives. The game teaches patience, careful thought and discipline, not dissimilar to aspects of martial arts training.

The camaraderie that parents associate with sports teams absolutely develops among groups of D&D players. Kids find likeminded people and form real friendships.

Dungeons & Dragons is an excellent way to channel the adventurous spirit of kids while also encouraging them to engage in activities outside of the house. With endless possibilities and a supportive community, Dungeons & Dragons Club is the perfect outlet for kids who crave adventure and need a little push to get out and explore.

Goblets & Goblins Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) Clubs are eligible for SSAH (Special Services at Home) funding because they provide a structured, interactive environment where children with autism can develop critical social and team-building skills. Learn More
